Frequently Asked Questions And Answers
1. What exactly is expected from us as a training partner?
As a training partner, your primary role is to provide structured, hands-on tailoring training in a safe and professional environment. This includes supervising trainees, guiding their skill development, and ensuring they gain practical, industry-relevant experience.
2. How many trainees will we receive at a time?
This depends on your capacity and workspace. NTEI assigns trainees based on your ability to train effectively without compromising quality. We prioritize smaller, manageable groups to ensure proper learning.
3. Who pays for the training?
NTEI covers the agreed training fees for each trainee. Training partners are not allowed to charge trainees additional fees without prior approval from NTEI.
4. Are trainees considered employees or apprentices?
Trainees are learners under a structured training program, not employees. They should not be treated as staff or used primarily for commercial production without clear learning value.
5. Can trainees assist in production work?
Yes, but only as part of their learning process. Any involvement in production must be educational and supervised—not exploitative or purely for business gain.
6. What happens if a trainee is not serious or misbehaves?
Training partners should report such cases to NTEI promptly. We will review the situation and take appropriate action, which may include counseling, reassignment, or removal from the program.
7. What if we are not satisfied with a trainee’s performance?
You can escalate concerns to NTEI. We will assess and decide whether to support improvement, reassign the trainee, or withdraw them from your facility.
8. Are we responsible for trainees’ welfare (feeding, transport, etc.)?
No. Trainees are responsible for their personal welfare. However, training partners must provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
9. What happens if a trainee gets injured during training?
The training partner is responsible for maintaining a safe environment and must report any incident immediately to NTEI. Proper supervision and safety practices are required at all times to prevent such occurrences.
10. Will NTEI monitor our training activities?
Yes. NTEI conducts periodic check-ins and evaluations to ensure training quality and trainee welfare. This may include physical visits or virtual reviews.
11. Can we hire trainees after the program?
Yes, outstanding trainees can be offered employment or extended opportunities at your discretion. We encourage this as part of long-term impact.
12. How long does the training last?
The duration depends on the program structure, but typically ranges from several months up to one year, depending on the skill level and training objectives.
13. What if we need to withdraw from the program?
You may request to withdraw, but must give prior notice to allow NTEI to reassign trainees without disruption.
14. Will our business be promoted by NTEI?
Yes. Training partners may receive visibility through NTEI platforms, depending on performance and engagement level.
15. What support do we get from NTEI?
NTEI provides trainees, structured program oversight, and payment for training. We also support coordination, monitoring, and program development.
16. Are there legal agreements involved?
Yes. All training partners are required to sign a formal agreement outlining roles, responsibilities, and compliance requirements.
17. Can we set our own training schedule?
Schedules can be agreed upon collaboratively, but must align with NTEI’s program structure and ensure consistency for trainees.
18. What makes a partner successful in this program?
Partners who focus on genuine skill transfer, maintain a professional environment, and actively engage trainees tend to achieve the best outcomes and long-term collaboration with NTEI.
